Our church has a rich history of missions support.
Plaucheville Church Plant - Each year we coordinate a Arts and Crafts week in the south Louisiana community of Plaucheville in coordination with the church planter, Norris Landry. The camp begins on Sunday evening with a meet and greet and concludes on Friday evening with a family night. The missions committee is always looking for volunteers to join the team and lead in Bible Study, music, crafts and recreation.
Team Alytus - Gloster has partnered with IMB missionaries, Milton and Lara Magalhaes to plant a church in Alytus, Lithuania, Each year church members make trips to Lithuania to prayerwalk, lead worship services, and serve the community of Alytus. The church is able to provide support for those who are called to go and would love to hear from those interested.
Freedom Ministry - The church has partnered with Logansport's Freedom Mission that ministers to those addicted to drugs and alcohol.
Sindhi - The missions committee has led us to partner with the Sindhi proper group dispersal abroad and concentrated in Pakistan.
Our Mission Committee helps in coordinating our Mission offering for State, Home,
and Foreign Missions each year. Since we have church members who serve as missionaries at home and overseas, we have an added interest in praying for and supporting missions. We support mission causes by giving through the Cooperative Program some 18% of all undesignated tithes and offerings.
