Lead Pastor
Pastor Ron is married to Nancy and they have three grown children: Ronnie, Regan, & Elizabeth. He received Jesus as Lord and Savior at age 16 during a revival at Parkview Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. After working as a minister of youth and education for a number of years, Pastor Ron began his pastoral ministry and has been ministering at churches throughout Louisiana and Mississippi since 1986. He has been the Senior Pastor at GBC since 1995.
Pastor Ron attended the first Saints game in Tiger Stadium in the summer of 1967 and his life motto is "Pray like it all depends on God but work like it all depends on you."
Music & Children'S MinistER
Caleb is married to Jenni and Dad to Caden and Wesleigh. Caleb has been on staff with GBC since February 2020. Caleb is heavily involved in the community and serves with North Desoto Wrestling as well as owning a lawn service business, Whatshisface LLC.
If you are looking for him in the fall and winter, he's probably in a stand looking for deer or setting up stands to look for deer.
Student Minister
Matt is married to Carly and is Emma Grace, Ezra, & Eli James' Dad. He received Jesus as Savior after an RA Meeting in 6th grade while sitting with his mom and dad on the couch at home. Matt began his ministry at GBC in April 2019.
When he's not chasing around toddlers or thinking about his next meal, he enjoys date nights, golf, & anything else that keeps him outside.
Ministerial Assistant
Jennifer is married to Dustin and has two girls, Sydney and Makayla. She has been on staff with GBC since September 2003. Mrs. Jennifer is the glue of the office and ensures everything continues to run smoothly. If she's not in the office, she's reading, in a deer stand, or going out for dinner with friends and family.
Students, & Worship Technologies Internship
Abby serves at GBC in an internship position with responsibilities related to student ministry and worship technologies. If she's not in the office, there's a good chance she's in the church sound booth, serving the community, or with friends and family. Abby's call to ministry came in February of 2016, when she was compelled to ministry with kids and mission work. Abby began with GBC in May of 2021. If she is with friends or family, there's a good chance it's with one of her brothers, Nicholas or Christopher, or her mom, Cheryl. You will probably also find her dogs, Lola, Asher, & Moose, close by.
